Harriet Allen (WA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife), Bill Gaines (Conservation Science Institute), Denise Joines (Wilburforce Foundation), Andrea Lyons (US Forest Service), Cliff Nietvelt (Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations), Jack Oeflke (North Cascades National Park), Dave

Peterson (PNW Research Lab), Regina Rochefort (North Cascades National Park), Joe Scott (Conservation Northwest), Dan Siemann (National Wildlife

Federation), Tory Stevens (BC Parks), and Chris Tunnoch (Ministry of

Environment).

Objectives:

1. To identify and prioritize science and management needs and resources to increase adaptive capacity in the Cascadia landscape;

2. Highlight successes and challenges in implementation of adaptation actions;

3. Facilitate communication to share ideas and expand implementation of adaptive actions including identification of new

approaches;

4. Draw attention to this unique landscape.

Priority issues:

1. Habitat connectivity and fragmentation;2. Water;

3. Iconic Species: Wolverine and Sockeye Salmon4. Access Management

3 fellows from WA and BC conducting research and reporting on this issues.
