The drivers feature dual neodymiummagnets for light weight. Copper cappedpole pieces lower both the driverinductance and the flux modulation,resulting in increased high frequencyextension and reduced distortion at highdrive levels. Butyl rubber surroundsprovide long life even in high humidityenvironments. The drivers are shielded.

Dynamic SonicGuard™ minimizesdistortion at high drive levels by limitinglow frequency excursion dynamically.This maximizes clarity at high drivelevels while protecting the drivers fromdamage due to overpowering.

A wall-mount bracket is included, plusten M6 inserts on the back panel fit thespacing of common third-party mountingbrackets, or can be utilized to suspendthe speaker using forged shoulder steeleyebolts, providing installation versatility.

CBT 100LA can be installed eitherindoors or outdoors. The drivers areweather-treated, the fiberglass reinforcedABS cabinet is excellent for outdoorapplications, external screws arestainless steel screws, and the paintedaluminum grille resists rusting in theharshest conditions.

The 100cm (39.4 in) tall line array height providesconsistent pattern control throughout theintelligibility band, making the CBT 100LAideal for difficult acoustic environments.The combination of superior sound quality,excellent pattern control, and compactdesign makes CBT 100LA ideal forapplications such as lecture halls, transitcenters, conference rooms, cathedrals,multipurpose spaces, architectural spaces,and in-wall recessed locations, amongmany others.

The innovative coverage adjustabilityallows switching between broad andnarrow vertical coverage settings to allowmatching the coverage and throwrequirements of the application. Coveragecan be easily switched in-venue with thespeaker already installed. This innovationallows a single loudspeaker model to excelin an extremely wide variety of projecttypes.

The voicing can be set to match theapplication through the Music/Speechswitch. The Music setting provides flatfrequency response, while the Speechsetting produces a mid-range presenceboost to provide clear, intelligible speecheven at the longest throw distances.
