Result and Conclusion We should respect natural cycles of Mother

Nature while performing our activities. It is our

actions which should be managed, not the Earth.

There should be active public participation

through NGOs and societies. Various

movements like Chipko, Naramada Bachao

Andolan which are aimed for environmental

protection should be encouraged. Active

involvement of judiciary in the form of Suo

Motu and PIL should be welcomed.

Introduction Our framers of the constitution

have realised the importance of

environment and have set up

guidelines in the form of articles and

directives to protect it. Environment

should be attached to the faith and

sentiments of people. as it used to be

in ancient times. There must be a

harmony between faith and policing.

Several conferences and actions

were initiated and as a consequence

many environmental laws have been

implemented.
