• Prokaryotic cells do NOT have a nucleus or other membrane-bound organelles. The DNA is suspended in the cytoplasm. All prokaryotes are

microscopic single cell organisms.

• Eukaryotic Cells have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. The nucleus is the

largest organelle and encloses the genetic information. Eukaryotes may be multicellular or

single celled organisms.
