Make YOUR Home e-Smarter!

Workshops are presented by Smart Apartment therapists and assistive technology specialists from the Helen Hayes Hospital Center for Rehabilitation Technology, along with select guest contractors with experience in home automa-

tion and accessible design. Learn how individuals with disabilities can benefit from the application of accessible design principles, combined with home automation technology, to make the home environment more usable.

The target audience for these workshops is anyone interested in learning more about accessible e-smart homes (electronically-smart homes) including patients, families and healthcare professionals (who will be eligible to earn 1.5 continuing education contact hours for each workshop).

Is it difficult or impossible for you or someone you know to perform activities of daily living?Have you had an evaluation at the Helen Hayes Smart Apartment?
