Data Model• Define data storage tables and relationships • Medicaid QI: Drug utilization text files have been transformed into this data model for

optimized analysis

Cube• Creates subset of data and defines custom groups and predefined calculations • Medicaid QI: This component is used to select NDC codes and define fields to sum

e.g. Total reimbursed, prescriptions, etc.

Reports/Pivot Tables/Charts• Customizable reports that are rapidly modified and transformed into any chart type• Medicaid QI: Easily create reports to analyze total dollar, prescroptions and represent

the market share as percent of total
