What is BadgerLink?

• BadgerLink is Wisconsin’s online library which provides access to licensed content

• Available to all Wisconsin residents from libraries of all types, homes, and work places

• Project of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Division for Libraries and Technology

• We must ensure that only Wisconsin residents are using our resources

• BadgerLink identifies you as a Wisconsin resident by looking at your computer Internet Protocol (IP) address or library card number

How does BadgerLink work?

• We maintain an anonymous list (over 3  million!) of Wisconsin IP addresses!

• If for some reason you can’t access BadgerLink…

Contact Us to request to have your IP address added to BadgerLink!
