It’s not that scary/ back to basicsThe chart component will always need 3 values.

X-axis = the value you are charting by. i.e. Volume

Y-axis = the range you are charting by. i.e. Day

Breakdown = What do you specifically want to analyze within your data. i.e. Sentiment

Simple, right?

Example/Remember – business questions / needs won’t always exactly match the Brandwatch filters.

“I want to know the social buzz about my audience, focusing particularly on demographic data over the past month”.

What this translates to:

- Social buzz = Volume (X-axis)

Demographic data = Gender/Interest/Profession (Breakdown)

Past month = Days/Weeks/Months (Y-axis)
