CCS InsulPOX™High‐performance insulating polymer overlay for cryogenic
secondary containment in LNG or LPG terminal dikes and floors
CCS InsulPOXCCS InsulPOX
Why?Slows evaporation of spilled LNG by insulating the liquid from large heat transfer of underlying concrete to lower the concentration of evaporated flammable vapors.
Protects concrete from cracking and flexing due to exposure to ~‐270 oF liquid.
Can be installed seamlessly
Can be manually repaired using non‐sag version

How does it work?
Durable, flexible, UV‐stable, inflammable polymer system is filled with lightweight nano spheres and applied in thickness of ¾”‐2” on concrete.
Low modulus polymer provides excellent shock resistance—won’t shatter when subjected to mechanical or thermal shocks.
