On June 4, 2020, organizations representing child care, food programs, safety net, and ending child poverty willcome together for our first virtual “Child Care and End Child Poverty in CA Advocacy Day”. In the past fewmonths, our landscape has shifted significantly. As we navigate what appears to be our new normal as Californiarecovers from the devastation caused by COVID-19, now more than ever we need to come together to raise ourunified voices and support California's kids and families. On June 4th, we'll advocate for budget proposals thatkeep families fed, keep child care providers open, and commit to lifting families out of poverty. Due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, unmet need is growing exponentially, yet California is facing an unprecedented budgetdeficit: we need our decision makers in Sacramento to hear from the field on the impact of this pandemic, andwhat supports need to be improved during recovery. If you are interested in sponsoring our virtual advocacy day, we welcome your tax deductible donation. Yourdonation will help fund an ongoing series of advocacy efforts as we work together to rebuild California followingthe COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you!
