Baby Bottle Tooth Decay Commonly called this

because of putting children to bed with a bottle.

This sugary substance sits in the mouth and on the gums all night.

If the child must have a bottle at night it should be water. No milk or juices.

Baby Bottle Tooth Decay (B.B.T.D.) Effects:

• Crooked Permanent Teeth

• Cavities• Delayed Speech

Development• Ear Problems• Poor Eating Habits• Brown Stains on Teeth

It’s Just a Drink…..NOT! Pop should not be seen

just as something to drink. It is a serving of sugar.

Each serving of Juice has 6 times the sugar as a serving of that natural fruit.

Juice should be diluted. Pop intake should be

very limited.
