Children’s Day

A "Children's Day", as an event, is celebrated on various days in many places around the world, in particular to honor children. Major global variants include an International Children's Day on June 1 and a Universal Children's Day on November 20, by United Nations’ recommendation. Children's Day is often celebrated on other days as well.

In Poland, Children's Day (Dzień Dziecka)

is celebrated on June 1.

AustraliaChildren's Day is the second Sunday in July.

SwedenThe International Children's Day is observed on the first Monday of October; more well-known national Children's Day is celebrated on May 13.

SpainIn Spain, this date is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of May, and it's called "Día del niño"

JapanChildren’s Day (子供の日 , kodomo no hi) is celebrated on May 5,

Germany

Most parents still celebrate Children's Day on the former date of June 1,

but public events take place on September 20.
