The patient died two days after Dr Kantrow’s consultation

Was a final diagnosis established?

Was the patient smoking or inhaling something that could have aspergillus in it?

Patient of 59 years old

Tissue diagnosis been made with cell block of the pericardial fluid appeared soon after the consultation causing cardiac tamponade requiring pericardial centesis.

Symptomatic thrombosis of left femoral vein

Adenocarcinoma, EGFR mut (-)

Treatment: anticoagulant; Carbo + Pacli + Bevacizumab

Was this a slow onset disease?

Was there fever or weight loss?

Was a diagnosis established by lung biopsy?

4 months onset

Weight loss 10kg, no other symptoms

Lung biopsy: Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Vietnamese American

Pemphygus treated with prednisone and mycophenolate

BAL culture revealed M.tuberculosis

She stayed in HCM city for PTB treatment

Patient died 2 days after admission

Mycobacterial and fungal cultures still negative?
