Students are asked to prepare a given drawing using AutoCAD in class exercises, homeworks, quizzes and all exams.

Practice Hours (Class exercises)

Last two hours of the class are appointed to practice of the subjects covered during the first two hours. The students will work on examples during the recitations to be equipped for preparing engineering drawings by computer means. The students are expected to complete the exercises during the recitation period. Completion of the exercises is to be checked and this will add points to the overall grade of the student.

Attendance and General Rules

According to the university regulations, students must attend at least 70 % of the lecture hours and 80 % of the laboratory hours. Apart from the university regulations, it is of student’s benefit to attend all of the lecture and laboratory hours.

No cell-phone during class.

Do not be late for the class!

AutoCAD Classic It uses toolbars instead of ribbon control panels.

2D Drafting & Annotation It is the default workspace in AutoCAD 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012. It uses a series of 2D control panels available throıgh dock able palette called as Ribbon.

Panels: AutoCAD uses ribbon panels as one means to access commands and settings. Similar tools commands are grouped together in panels and can be accessed by clicking the button or icon that indicates the tool's purpose. Each panel consists of a collection of tools that performs related or similar tasks.
