Eligibility“To merit consideration for the CLA Book of the Year for Children Award, a book must have been published in Canada, in 2011 and its author must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. The Selection Process accept submissions from publishers of books
which would appeal to children up to and including age 12 (218 books in total)
