Objective:

To minimise disruption caused by road and street works during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

• Strategies:– To create management appropriate to works types – To create processes that use existing practices

• Collaborative– Voluntary contributions– Available powers

ClearWay 2012 workstream strategies

Planned works:To schedule utility works ahead of highway works and prior to special controls starting January 2011 for major works

Connection works:To inform potential customers to time requests for connections prior to, or after Games

Emergency works:To develop traffic-sensitive response procedures for rapid deployment
