Cincinnati MSA:

2+ million people in Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) – a Tri-State Area

• Southwest Ohio Counties: Brown, Butler (Hamilton and Middletown), Clermont, Hamilton (Cincinnati, Norwood, Sharonville and Springdale), and Warren

• Northern Kentucky Counties: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, and Pendleton

• Southeast Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, and Ohio

Alternative Dispensing Modalities:

• Pull – Open PODs (Community PODs)

• Walk-through• Drive-through

– Closed PODs (Businesses, College, Skilled Nursing Facilities)

• Push– Walking/Driving

• Pre-position

– First Responders (Police, Fire, Health, Hospitals)

Closed PODs:

• Businesses (Manufacturing, Insurance, Banks, Critical Infrastructures, etc)

• Dispense to employees and their family members• Employees take home meds to family (follow head of

household)• This may also include contractors and their family

members

• Skilled Nursing Facilities• Dispense to employees, their family members, and

residents

• Colleges/Universities• Dispense to employees, their family members, and

students

Closed PODs:

• Removes a large percentage of people that don’t have to come to the open PODs– For Example:

Total Population in Hamilton County = 470,000

Closed POD Businesses (8) = 105,732

College (1) = 4,468

Skilled Nursing Facilities (20) = 24,500

Total Population in Closed PODs = 134,700

• Percent population at Closed PODs = 29%
