56%  of internet users use webmail services such as Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo! Mail

But what exactly is cloud computing?

When asked what cloud computing was: 25% said it was 'a data centre in the sky' 20% thought it was 'something Microsoft advertised' 10% believed it was 'global warming caused by computers overheating 10% thought it was a 'trendy club in Soho’

Only 35% thought it was a new way to access IT services over the internet.

CDs degrade over time, hard disks crash, USB keys can go missing but no file will ever disappear from cloud

Amazon’s Cloud Player offers 5 GB of free music storage, +20 GB if you buy an album through Amazon

and can be accessed anywhere.
