CCA Allocation

• Based on interest, aptitude and CCA requirements

• CCA starts on Term 1 Week 5: 4 – 8 Feb

• CCA Tryout: Week 5 – 6

CCA Appeal

• Week 7 (By 22 February 2019, 1.00p.m.)

• Approach HOD/PE & CCA for appeal

• Next window of appeal – Term 4 Week 6

• During appeal period, CCA attendance is compulsory

• Parents’ letter (maximum of 3 per year)

• 1st – 2nd time: Counselling + Inform parents

• 3rd time: Verbal warning by HOD/PE & CCA +

• 4th time: Issue 1st Letter of Warning

Consequences for CCA Truancy

• 5th time: 2nd Letter of Warning + Parents meeting with HOD/PE & CCA

• 6th time: 3rd Letter of Warning (in-house suspension) + Parents meeting with VP

• 7th time: School leaders meet parents to issue in-house suspension letter

• Excellent (2 bonus points)

– attained a minimum Level 3 in all four domains with:

•At least Level 4 in one domain.

• Good (1 bonus point)

– attained a minimum Level 1 in all four domains with any one of the following:

•At least Level 2 in three domains;

•At least Level 2 in one domain and at least Level 3 in another domain; or

•At least Level 4 in one domain.

• Fair (no bonus points)
