WORSHIP
CHRIST THE KING SUNDAY Christ the King Sunday celebrates theall-embracing authority of Christ as King andLord of the cosmos. It is celebrated on the finalSunday of Ordinary Time, the Sunday beforeAdvent. In 2015, the feast falls on November22nd. Jesus had this to say about his kingship: "You know that those who are recognized asrulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, andtheir great ones make their authority over themfelt. But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to become great among you willbe your servant; whoever wishes to be firstamong you will be the slave of all. For the Sonof Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many"
(Mark 10:42-45, NAB).
