Oasis Infill Design
Presentation Drawings 2
Belfast City is the central location for fashion and new design trendsthroughout Northern Ireland. So for the Oasis Infill Project I wanted tocreate a new and innovative building that reflected those features
The Proposed Spertus Institute building In Chicargo, Illinois and themore prominently the Trutec Building in Seoul, Korea by BarkowLeibinger Architects were the basis of inspiration for the facade design.Autocad, Revit and Photoshop software were used to produce images
The facade design provides a vast viewing area, lighting and largedisplay areas to position products for potential customers. The vibrantcolours are welcoming and ligthen the atmosphere between theadjacent buildings
Aswell as trying to incoporate a new and innovative design for thebuilding, I wanted to stay on touch with traditional Belfast Architectureby integrating Red Brick cladding. The Oasis building is theoretically splitinto two sections, each linking to their adjacent structure. The mainGlazing facade reflects the Window heights and levels on one side, whereas the smaller Glass facade, infill panels and photovoltaics reflectthe heights and levels of the other.
