Stands for “electronic mail”

• A system of world wide electronic communication in which a computer user can compose a message at one terminal that is generated at the recipient’s terminal when he logs in.

• It is a database for both public and private purposes, wherein anyone could edit the text type.

• The good thing about it is that knowledge from different people are combined together, but you can’t be assure that those information are all correct or even has a connection on the subject.

VoIP• Stands for “Voice Over Internet Protocol”• A category of hardware and software that

enables people to use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls by sending voice data in packets using IP rather than by traditional circuit transmissions of the PSTN. One advantage of VoIP is that the telephone calls over the Internet do not incur a surcharge beyond what the user is paying for Internet access, much in the same way that the user doesn't pay for sending individual e-mails over the Internet.

• Stands for “hypertext markup language”• Set of tags and rules for using them in developing hypertext documents.

• Stands for “world wide web”• A computer network consisting of a

collection of internet sites that offer text, graphic, sound, animation resources through the hypertext protocol.

web.

• Streaming media is  multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. Its verb form, "to stream", refers to the process of delivering media in this manner; the term refers to the delivery method of the medium rather than the medium itself.

• Not only can you save your favorite websites and send them to your friends, but you can also look at what other people have found interesting enough to tag. Most social bookmarking sites allow you to browse through the items based on most popular, recently added, or belonging to a certain category like shopping, technology, politics, blogging, news, sports, etc.

Blog• It became the voice of people on the world wide web.

• A web feed lets websites continuously "feed" you notices of their new content.

virtual community. You can also customize your profile.

Online Chat• Online chat is one of the things that

is made possible through the use of social networking websites. You can send and receive messages in a short period of time.
