Holy Spirit Bible Study
The Spirit is manifested in diverse ways
in the holy scriptures – and in today’s
world. This study will consider the
witness of many different sections of the
Old and New Testaments about the
Spirit, who still comes into the fractures
of our personal, social and political lives
to awaken, transform and reconcile. All
are invited to attend this study led by
Pastor Anita on Wednesday evenings at
7:00 PM. You are welcome to be a part of
this study any time, and to invite others
to join in, too. Email Pastor Anita if you
would like summaries of past sessions.

information.
Enneagram andDiscernment: A UniqueApproach to MakingWise Decisions
The course on Enneagram and
Discernment has begun and you are
welcome in this course to jump in at any
time. If you are interested in learning
about the Enneagram and how it can be
used as a tool to strengthen self
awareness and spiritual decision making,
join us in this opportunity.
Visit https://holyharmonyretreats.
wordpress.com/courses-and-
retreats/ to view the course syllabus
prior to Monday. Some of the course will
be self-guided, and the syllabus includes
a list of suggested resources. The class
will meet every Monday evening at 6:00
PM. Small groups will meet on a rotating
schedule on Thursday afternoons at 2:00
PM. This will give participants a chance
to get more direct, personal experience
with the Enneagram. If you plan on
attending Monday evening, please use

School Kits forLutheran World Relief(LWR)
Advent's Sew Seeds ministry will be
assembling school kits again this year for
distribution by LWR. Thank you to those
who have already contributed. We
currently have 12 boxes of 8 kits so far.
A donation collection box will be
available in the entry area by the church
office. Additionally, donations can be by
check made out to Advent Lutheran
Church, P.O. Box 607, Morgan Hill, CA
95037 (for school kits) or by donating
gift cards (Target, Staples or Walmart).
Click here for a list of items needed.
In-Person SpiritualCare
If you would like to speak with or visit
with Pastor Anita or Vicar Brandon,
please continue to contact us by email or
phone. Pastor Anita will make in-person
visits where we can be outside and have
physical distance. We hold you all in our
prayers.
Offerings
While we are not able to gather in
person, our church continues to need
financial support. You may contribute to
your church any time through online
giving at the bottom of Advent’s home
page. Note that in addition to electronic
transfers, debit and credit cards giving
options are also now available. You may
also mail an offering to Advent Lutheran
Church, P.O. Box 607, Morgan Hill, CA
95038. Please note to use the mailing
address, not physical address, for all mail
sent to the church.
Third Quarter Mission
Our third-quarter mission will be the
ELCA COVID-19 Response Fund.
Launched in the response of the
unprecedented need as a result of
COVID-19, the ELCA COVID-19 response
fund was created to support the
ministries of this church that are most in
need and best position to make an
impact. Read more...
Please prayerfully consider giving to this
mission, as when one member of the
body of Christ suffers, all suffer together.
The needs are great. So are the
opportunities. Please contact Kathy
Panzica at 831-801-1511 or Sherry in the
church office. Thank you for sharing your
gifts with our church and the world.

the Reach Out food bank at St. Catherine
Church in Morgan Hill. Items for the
