WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Blaiz Murray was baptized by Travis Williams December 2. Please
welcome Blaiz to the our Belpre family. We know the angels were
rejoicing over his decision to follow Christ.
THANK YOU
I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, the phone calls,
food or any act of kindness you have shown to me and my family. My
church family is all I have in the area now and I love you all. Thank you to
those who journeyed to Cleveland to visit with us. Lucille Burgess
Thank you to everyone who helped make the 13th Annual Stepping Stones
Dinner/Auction a great success. Over $4,000 was raised to support
Christian Education at Ohio Valley University. Your generosity was
appreciated and will continue to help young people gain more than an
education at OVU. Mary Miller
Merry Christmas to all my friends who have helped me this year—from
mowing, raking leaves, painting my house, sending cards and food. This
has been a bad year for me healthwise. Thanks so much. Love you all.

COURAGE TO CHANGE Battling difficulties can be draining and may alter the way you
view your circumstances. Instead of seeing the potential of
your life, you begin to feel that you are not special and that God
has forgotten you. His good plan for your life seems more and
more unlikely every time you think about it. However,
remember that his goal for you is always geared for ultimate
victory and success.
LOVE IN ACTION November was another busy month in the pantry with over 700
served! In addition, many were given Thanksgiving dinners and
we have received several more turkeys to pass out for Christ-
mas dinners. We are also going to serve a meal to our pantry
clients during pantry hours this week. We will be preparing
a simple, warm meal and if anyone is interested in helping to
serve, please contact Rose Caltrider. Tuesday's hours are from
10-2 and Thursday's hours are 5-7pm. A warm meal and a
smile....what a great gift to our community!!
WOW..... many of us HAD to be touched by Jeff's sermon on the
power of prayer in our lives. We soooo underestimate the
power of prayer and the power the Holy Spirit can play in our
lives. This time of year we often see the words "BELIEVE." I
would like to challenge all in our Belpre family in 2013. Instead
of believing in just the magic of Christmas, can we BELIEVE
more in the truths God has given us in his word??? Can we
BELIEVE that prayer can change us and this entire church
family???? Can we, for one year, focus on improving our prayer
life and focus on the one that has given us the GREATEST gift
ever?? Please continue to pray for Love in Action and each
other in 2013 and BELIEVE in God's promises for us!
