CORPORATION PROFILE INTRODUCTION
MONTMONTAZA Group, led by Montmontaza PLC as the Parent Company, covers a group of companies with
1,000 employees working mainly as a world‐wide capital investment contractor for construction of industrial
plants, building and infrastructures.
The strength of MONTMONTAZA Group lies in:
its operating as the leader in the above mentioned three distinct, promising markets, both international
and domestic, reducing thereby the overall business risk;
its capabilities to introduce solutions to meet its customers present and future needs;
its organization, where a significant part of construction is subcontracted between group members;
its policy to ensure and implement strict adherence to the wide range of internal procedures and control
systems in execution of the projects;
its world‐wide reputation and
its financial strength and considerable resources.
MONTMONTAZA’s strategy is to be the leader in its chosen fields of business, and thereby to realise on a long‐
term basis a return on its invested capital substantially higher than its cost of capital. In this way it aims to create
value and provide the shareholders with a return on their investment commensurate with the risk involved, and
so also to secure the continuity and independence of the corporation.
In selecting the business activities through which the above objective is to be achieved, the focus is almost
entirely on those markets and projects on which the Group’s existing core competencies, i.e. its commercial and
technical expertise, and track records, can be brought to bear. However, in general, the Group companies position
themselves in accordance with the prevailing market conditions and focus on the top end of the markets where
new technology and innovation are required, in order to limit competition.
Almost all projects pursued by the Group companies are of a nature that requires specific performance criteria
with respect to quality, performance, timely execution, etc. established by its customers, including adherence to
international standards. Only technical experience and expertise together with strict adherence to internal
procedures, such as those required to obtain ISO 9000 accreditation can limit these risks.

MONTMONTAZA’s corporate structural and organisational concept is based on project principle orientation of
business activities.
Essential activities linked to the realization of the projects are organized primarily and particularly with the
purpose to fulfill the specific requirements of the projects. As result, a comprehensive range of procedures and
control systems to enable the Project Managers to effectively execute, monitor and control the Project have been
developed. Control Systems appropriate to each project are used to plan the tasks to be performed, allocate
resources, monitor the work undertaken and the costs incurred, provide the necessary information to assist
decision making and enable timely corrective action to be taken. The Quality Assurance, Health Safety and
Environment Project Management Systems are implemented on each project.

MONTMONTAZA’s Safety Assurance System
People are our most important asset. The pain and suffering felt by the affected employees, due to illness or
injury sustained on or off the job, is also felt by the family and company in terms of decreased quality of life or lost
productivity and profits. It therefore becomes paramount for us to prevent, to the best of our collective abilities,
all injures and illnesses at work and at home.
The protection of the environment and the efficient use of its resources have become a key consideration in
project design, planning and execution. Environment is legacy of former generation and environment protection is
pledge to the next generation, to which MONTMONTAZA is fully committed.
