• Both of the magazines are the same genre and have the same target audience. • Both magazine’s are eye-catching which could make them remembered and recognised by
the audience. • Both mast heads are in the same place. • The magazine feature similar fonts on the covers using bold and capital letters to capture the
audiences attention. • Both main cover lines are in the same place.
Differences
• Q magazine looks more organised than NME. They both have a similar colour scheme but Q magazine looks fuller and more professional, the layout is also more professional on Q magazine.
• On Q the cover lines are on the top and bottom where as on NME they’re down the left side• NME layout doesn’t look as professional as it could because the layout is messy.
