Level Description1 - Level 1

1-Explain the components of a count document (document number, plant, Sloc, material, material description, possible additional sloc, batch, storage bin). 2-Explain the importance of physically counting inventory. 3-Describe the inventory count process. 4-Decribe how to access, complete and enter the count document. 5-If applicable, explain the process of using a bar code device.

2 - Level 2

1-With supervision, perform inventory counts and verifications. 2-With supervision, access, complete and enter the count results in the count document. 3-With supervision, if applicable, demonstrate the use of a bar code device.

3 - Level 3

1-Perform inventory counts and verifications. 2-Access, complete and enter count results in the the count document. 3-If applicable, demonstrate the use of a bar code device.

4 - Level 4

1-Train others on performing the inventory count process. 2-If applicable, trains others on using bar code devices to perform counts. 3- Generate inventory count reports for monitoring accuracy.

5 - Level 5

1-Ensure inventory count processes are followed correctly. 2-Address inventory count discrepancies and initiates corrective action. 3-Evaluate inventory count guidelines to provide recommendations for improvements.
