“Lots of good coding info! Thanks for giving us time to work on projects!!”

- Lisa Niehouse, 6th Science

“It was a very good and productive day. I learned a lot in all of my sessions and felt the time was used wisely and appropriately. I think it was a very good day of PD. I feel

excited about our coding project and know how to go about helping my students in Scratch.”

- Julie Finch, 5th Math

My science team and I collaborated to plan out the steps we need to think through before implementing a coding project to help our

students be more successful in our upcoming project. I actually had time to complete a whole example of the expected project so now I will be better prepared to teach it. In the past I wasn't as sure

what I was doing or expecting out of students. I was also able to discuss with teammates about what students need to be able to

do and what this will look like when we teach it so that was helpful and will make me be more successful while teaching.

- Samantha Kolf, 5th Science

The coding in the classroom session allowed for me to see what general education teachers are planning

and how it can tie into the curriculum we already use.- Jenny Butler, Academic Interventionist
