Confirming an appointment

Learning Objective 2: Using CRM software, trainee will be able to confirm an appointment by sending a confirmation email to the customer without error.

» Select the newly scheduled appointment, which appears on your contact history. The customer’s information will appear towards the top of the screen. Click on the customer’s email address. This will automatically direct you to the email screen.

» Click the “Insert Template” button

» Choose the “Appointment – confirmation” email template. Be sure to preview the email on the right side of the screen to make sure that there are no issues.

» Once you have confirmed that the email is accurate, click “Apply to Email”. The customer information, appointment date and time will automatically be generated within the email.

» Click “Send Email”.
