Connect the Theremino Pin to PT1000
The simplest method is to connect the probe to a Pin configured as Res_16, and
then calculate the temperature in software, with a proper formula. With this
simple solution taes ad!antage of onl" a small part of the #$C, so the resolution
is !er" poor. %!en with the best calibration, the accurac" will be around &'(10
degrees )that is not so bad considering that we measure !er" high temperatures*.
+n this solution, "ou configure the P+ as #$C 16 and feeds the PT1000 with a
resistor from 1.- ohm, starting from the - olts. The - olts are not stabili/ed,
for which the calibration remains !alid, ust as long as "ou do not change "our
computer and 23 port. 4owe!er the resolution is great, We spea of fractions of
degrees centigrade, from (100 at &100 degrees, and up to two degrees, at higher
temperatures.

This is the solution that we
recommend. 5ou configure the P+ as #$C 16 and "ou connect a resistor from 1
7hm at 8.8 olts. The resolution is great, We spea of fractions of degrees
centigrade from (100 at &100 degrees, and up to two degrees, at higher
temperatures. 2tabilit" and accurac" are perfect, 2ince we use 8.8 olts stabili/ed.
The onl" difficult" is that the 8.8 olt is not a!ailable on pins of +n7ut. 5ou
could#dd a controller, or connect a wire to the 8.8 olts of the +C2P connector.
+n the latter "ou configure the P+ as #$C 16 and feeds the PT1000, with a
constant current of 1 m#, generated b" an integrated controller, starting from -
olts present on all pins. 9ust a small adapter, that can be built with the copperadhesi!e tape, or e!en welding directl" the three components, to each other. This
solution is more comple:, but it has a constant resolution below Celsius degree,
up at higher temperatures )-00 degrees plus*
