TheDirector stated that this willhelp to solve the demand ofICU to a certain extent. Theinstitute is in the process ofprocurement of at least 20ventilators in the near future,more number of beds in theICU will be added soon.

N.Biren Singh also said thatbanking serv ices andcommunication facilities likemobile connectivity had beenenhanced in hill districts.He also said that all the newlyinaugurated women markets inhill districts except Chandelhad star ted functioning asproblems besieging vendorallocation had been sorted out.Now, the State Government isfocusing on rain waterharvesting considering thewoes faced by people due toacute water scarcity during

dry season, the Chief Ministersaid. In this regard, he added,rain water harvesting projectshad been taken up at sevendifferent places.Stating that being ademocratic country, theGovernment needs to attendto people’s complaints andgrievances, the Chief Ministersaid that the State Governmentintroduced ‘Go to Hill’ and ‘Goto Village’ missions tounderstand people’ssufferings. With the inputsand suggestions receivedfrom the public, the StateGovernment had formulatedanother noble mission knownas ‘School Fagathansi’ with anaim to improve the conditionof Government schools. Hesaid that foundation stonesfor development of additionalinfrastructure in selected 60schools under the missionwould be laid simultaneouslyon August 17.
