I’m Cloud from…
MPLS.TV is a Minneapolis based content network

In other words, we

And a LOTS of it.
Our 295 videos

and we’ve been
seen on
In the modern
age, CONTENT will be king.
“Revolutions are still
televised, but they get Tumblr'd, tweeted and
YouTubed first.”
-Jeff Weiss, L.A. Times
Case Study #1
Odd Future
Since 2008, Odd Future have released no fewer than 12 full-length albums, as
well as assorted between-releases singles-- all available free on their Tumblr.
SWAG
A pair of iTunes singles, "Yonkers" and "Sandwitches," were made available just
days before the "Fallon" appearance, and are the only pieces of music available from the camp at retail. The songs (credited to Tyler, the Creator) have sold 12,000 and 6,000 units, respectively as of April 2011.
"A record label doesn't necessarily
have pole position. Creative control
and freedom come first. Going forward, successful artists will be
ones fully immersed in the intellectual property of their
lifestyle."
-David Airaudi, Odd Future’s Manager
Case Study #2
A$AP ROCKY
"I'm going to have creative control; there's no bullshit. The situation is almost unrealistic. I mean,
five months ago I had about $3,000 in my bank account. Now I'm worth $3 million. Nobody's
gotten a deal like that since 50 Cent."
Case Study #3
The Weeknd
Since joining Twitter on Feb. 21,
The Weeknd has racked up 141,900 followers and counts 124,000 likes on Facebook.
