Assignment

• 3 Blind Contour Drawings: Practice how each part of the face looks in different expressions (i.e. excited, sad, etc.)

• 5 Contour Drawings, at least 3 have to be of a face

• Use one of your face contour drawings to create a wire contour sculpture.

• Plan for how you will approach the wire sculpture using one continuous line.

• As practice, you will each have the same length of wire to create one facial feature, and will then put your features together with others at your table to create a finished face.

• You will do this BEFORE starting your own sculpture of a contour face.
