Today, in response to MGM/Mirage's continued efforts to avoid responsibility, we are publicly releasing correspondence between Perini and MGM/Mirage, which makes it clear for all to see - and read - that Perini for several months has been seeking payment from MGM/Mirage for work performed on time and as promised. For many months, MGM/Mirage has refused in good faith to negotiate our change orders. In response to MGM/Mirage’s refusal to respond to Perini's efforts to seek payment for the work performed, Perini filed a lawsuit several weeks ago and successfully obtained a lien against MGM/Mirage in an effort to hold MGM/Mirage accountable. MGM/Mirage needs to do the right thing and stop avoiding its responsibility.
