Still, 17% of Jackson County students receive some form of special education services (1 in every 6 students)

have been cut(b) Consolidated all services under JCISD(c) Restructured reimbursement formula for

greater equity(d) Staffing reductions for local districts(e) Contract freezes and health care

Even with the resizing, local districts have seen an 18% cut in reimbursement for special education costs in 2011-12 (82% reimbursement)

Local districts are projected to see an additional 7% cut in reimbursement for special education costs in 2012-13 (approximate 75% reimbursement)

Should this fail, and no other millage passes, an additional 50% cut is projected in 2013-14 (approximate32% reimbursement)
