Cowlitz Timber Trails

Experience One of Washington’s Most Unique Camping Areas

In the foothills of the Western Cascades, located between Mt. Rainier to the North and Mt. St. Helens to the South, there is yet another area of beauty and splendor.

Now Entering Cowlitz Timber Trails

Smiled on by nature in its early creation, it represents an area of over 450 acres, with evergreens reaching for the sky.

Deer, rabbits, squirrels and other animals wander lazily throughout the park.

The Cowlitz River, on its Southern boundary, races with white water rage to make its way to the Mighty Columbia.

Salmon and native steelhead can be seen in the bluish-green water as they make their way to their own destiny.

In 1969 the Association was formed with the idea that would allow mankind and nature to share this beautiful environment.

It was from these thoughts that CTTA was born, and these same thoughts have brought more than 500 members here today.

CTTA Is For YOU!

Cowlitz Timber Trails Association is a gate secured campground with a variety of memberships available.
