Material health (continues improvement)
Het product moet veilig zijn voor mensen en voor de
natuurlijke systemen; van winning van de grondstoffen
tot en met het recyclen:
1. Start met het inventariseren van de homogene materialen
2. Vraag de leveranciers om aan te geven uit welke stoffen hun materialen
bestaan
3. Analyseer de materialen op veiligheid via ABC-X rating
4. Indien er materialen zijn die niet veilig zijn moet er een strategie worden
ontwikkeld om ze te vervangen
5. Als niet bekend is of een materiaal veilig is wordt het grijs. Hierdoor wordt
de eindscore lager.
