The common by-products of ourconsumerism lifestyle such as plastic bags, food packaging, cardboard boxes, worn clothing, plastic bottles, and even bike inner tubes are excellent craftingmaterials. FeltedSweaterMittens

I love the idea of making a newwearable out of a worn garment, and thesemittens do that with style. It takes four felted sweater pieces to make eachmitten: a back, two inside pieces and a sleeve cuff.Mixing andmatching thecolors is half the fun. Butwhat reallymakes thismitten design unique is theneedle felted embellishment on the back. If you’ve never tried needle felting, you’re in for a treat. Simply lay wool roving over the felted wool and use abarbedneedletopokeitdirectlyinplace.Witheachprick, thetinyneedlebarbsblend the wool fibers together so they stick.
