What is a Self-Running Presentation?

• Presentation that runs by itself– No need to manually advance slides– Set it up and go

• Each slide should contain main message

• Each slide should be eye-catching

• Play through once or loop continuously

• Museums• Receptions• Conventions• Waiting areas• Parties• Career fairs

Start a New Photo Album

• Insert Picture New Photo Album • Choose pictures

Choose Picture LayoutClick Create ButtonAdd CaptionsPut the Photos in OrderAdd Text BoxesRotate, if Necessary

Format the Photos

Choose Frame ShapeChoose Design Template

Save the File!

Edit the Slides

• Add text to title slide

• Change captions, if necessary

• Add titles, if necessary

• Change slide background, if desired

• Change text color, if desired

Save the File!

Compress the Photos

• Picture Toolbar

• Compress Pictures Button

• Resolution = Web/Screen

Save the File!

Add Transitions & Timings

• Slide Show Slide Transition

• Option One– Home Computer

– Office Computer

– Bond 251 lab

– Bond 258 lab

• Option Two– Computers that have CD burning issues

– All other Bond Hall computer labs (Have not tested labs in other buildings, as of 8-4-05)

• File Package for CD

• Name the CD

• Click Copy to CD button

• The CD will start to burn

Option Two

• File Package for CD

• Name the CD

• Click Copy to Folder… button

• Use CD burning software to create CD

Test the CD!!(On more than one computer!!)
