• Mission:The California Waterfowl Association is a statewide nonprofit organization whose principal objectives are the preservation, protection, and enhancement of California’s waterfowl resources, wetlands, and associated hunting heritage.

• Regulated hunting is the key to conservation

• Conservation Problems = Research Funding

• Restored more that 300,000 acres (1992)• Wood Duck program hatched over 500,000

ducklings• Millions raised for research, conservation,

education, and legislation• Special Programs
