What is Culture?

• is a word for people's 'way of life', meaning the way they do things. Different groups of people may have different cultures. A culture is passed on to the next generation by learning. Culture is seen in people's writing, religion, music, clothes, cooking, art, and in what they do.

How Does Culture Affect You?

What is Collage?

• is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different shapes to create a new image.

• A collage may sometimes include newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas.

Collage Helpful Hints

• Use different texture, color, size paper or images

• Use the entire picture plane

• Consider Balance, Composition, Focal Points

• Have a vision in mind

• Be Creative!
