TRANSCRIPT

My abition in life is to experience as many

places as I possibly can. I love to travel,

finding new adventures.

I am very competetive, constantly striving to I am very competetive, constantly striving to

be the best I can be. New challenges excite me

and I am always determined to succeed. Enthu-

siasm and passion are definitely attributes

I’d use to describe myself. I work well in

teams, demonstrating confidence and strong

communication skills. Punctuality is very im-

portant to me, my organisation skills help me

meet project and work deadlines.

Over recent years the way I interact with and think about buildings has changed due to

the nature of studies. I find Architecture very exciting when design is used to manipu-

late a users experience of the building.

My favourite architectural experience was a visit to Castelvecchio. I found the level of

detail achieved to create an intimate journey through the envelope inspirational. I never

realised how many different experiences you could achieve in one space through simple

design ideas such as changing floor heights, floor and wall materiality and controlling

paths and routes allowing the opportunity to appreciate the bespoke costruction details

designed by Carlo Scarpa.

Throughout my life I have been influenced by construction, my father owns a construction

company which I have worked for, and the majority of my other jobs have been working in

different trades.

Hobbies and Interest

I believe that gaining experience in fields of construction has been essential to my un-derstanding of ‘Architecture’. Experiencing the design process and construction methods first hand, influenced many design choices I was required to make for my university work.
