We had 130 silent bid items and 40 Live items, plus Raffles.

Christine Garrow has received some reading times from the staff at Fillmore Elementary, Davenport. The Rotary volun-teers would sit with an individual child and help them sound out words and sentences in books. A lot of these children do not receive any help at home. The grade levels (so far) are: First, Second and Fourth. BUT FIRST: Christine needs your completed Volunteer form, for the Davenport Schools, so they can do a background check. The form must be complete with social security number and a copy of your current driver’s license or passport. These can be returned to Christine at the Eldridge Library or at any meeting. Den-nis and Lorraine Lynch will also accept them. Signups will begin November 2, so please, get your volunteer form com-pleted, so we are ready to go with volunteers.
