Description / Features

The EyeSDN USB­E1 is a call recordingdevice for the 30 phone lines of anISDN E1 or the 23 phone lines of anISDN T1 primary rate interface. TheE1/T1 line is passively tapped with ahigh impedance circuit.

The digital contents of the ISDNframes is transferred to the PC via aUSB cable, which is also used to powerthe device. Software on the PC decodesthe information in the D channel andcreates audio files from the B channel dataduring active calls. All data is stored on thehard disk of the PC operating the device.

The EyeSDN USB­E1 has 4 multi­colourstatus LEDs. These indicate

• device and USB activity,

• signal status (loss of signal, G.704framing lock) per wire pair,

• layer 1 and layer 2 activity

• B channels in use/calls in progress.

The software can detect various line statesand fault conditions (AIS, remote AIS,CRC4 error, multi­framing, coding violation,LOS, G.704 lock, frame slip). The devicecan be connected to E1, T1 and J1 lines.

The small form factor and ruggedenclosure make EyeSDN USB­E1 suitablefor stationary and mobile use.
