And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit

down till he come hither.

God has an anointing

just for you.

God is waiting for you to step into that which He

has anointed you to do.

And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and

withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said,

Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

What has God anointed

you to do?

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the

brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the

blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

God’s anointing empowers you to do what you could never do on your own.

And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and

withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said,

Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

God’s Spirit comes to those who will honor the anointing.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD

came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and

went to Ramah.

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from

Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled

him.

God’s Spirit leaves those

who dishonor the anointing.

David honored the anointing before he was

anointed.

Saul dishonored the anointing, and God’s Spirit left

him.

Wait for and honor the anointing.

If you want to know what God is about to do,

get consecrated & anointed.

The anointing is the prophesy

about who he is about to use, &

what God is about to do.

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad,

when they saw the LORD.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto

you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I

you.

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the

Holy Ghost:

Here, the disciples received the Holy

Ghost, in Acts chapter 2 they

were filled with the Holy Ghost.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began

to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave

them utterance.

If you want to be anointed,

look for people who have the

anointing.

Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany,

where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised

from the dead.

There they made him a supper; and Martha

served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at

the table with him.

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and

wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of

the ointment.

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot,

Simon's son, which should betray him,

Why was not this ointment sold for

three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but

because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what

was put therein.

Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the

day of my burying hath she kept this.

Mary was able to anoint Jesus for His burial and resurrection, because she had just seen her

brother, Lazarus raised from the dead.

For the poor always ye have with you;

but me ye have not always.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
