Dia-Clad HFRC Hard Facing and Tinning RodsDiaPacTM provides a wide range of bronze based rods containing cemented carbide WC/Co particles. The range of products are applied using an oxy-acetylene brazing process. HFRC is easy to use, produces low fume and enables the operator to “position” and optimize the carbide pieces for optimal performance. HFRC is available in non-fl uxed or fl uxed coated form. The large particles have exposure to enable a sharp cutting action, smaller particles provide a bearing or wear resistant surface

Applications include: downhole drilling, fi shing tools, augers and ground engaging components.

Dia-Clad HFRA Hard Facing RodsDiaPacTM provides a range of tungsten carbide based hardfacing products utilizing self-fl uxing nickel based binder. The Dia-CladTM HFRA range of rods may be applied using oxy-acetylene or TIG. The rods utilize selected mesh sizes of mono-tungsten carbide (WCZ), cast tungsten carbide (CCZ), spherical cast tungsten carbide (CCS) and WC/CO pellets (PL) in a nickel alloy (Ni-Cr-Si-B) binder.

DiaPac’s Dia-CladTM HFRA sintered hardfacing products provide exceptional corrosion, oxidation, abrasion and erosion resistance. The nickel-based alloy yields excellent corrosion properties, minimal dilution of the tungsten carbide particles and a repairable weld deposit. A high-integrity bond is created when joining to the parent material.Applications include: downhole tools, mining, construction and agriculture.
