We are an established Further Education College, located in the heart of
Coventry. We recently merged City College Coventry and Henley College
Coventry to make the new Coventry College. Between us we have been
delivering learning and training to employers, young people and adults
in Coventry since 1828 from our early origins as the Mechanics Institute.
We benefit from modern facilities at both our campuses. Our City Centre
Campus has benefitted from recent improvements to our facilities including
an Innovation Hub to host our digital courses. We have a dedicated private
network for the delivery of our digital apprenticeships.
Our unified communications programmes are co-designed with the Institute
of Telecoms Professionals (ITP) with whom we have been delivering
apprenticeship for the last 4 years.
We benefit from being part of the Fujitsu Ambassador Programme
supported by Intel and Brocade.
We employ 600 staff including teachers, trainers and assessors who are skilled
in their trade or professional field of delivery. All our staff are qualified
and complete regular staff training and professional updating as part
of their professional development programme.
Training is our business. It’s at the heart of our mission to improve the
skills of people and businesses and it’s what we focus all our attention on.
We are committed to working with all our employers and students to make
sure they get the best experience they can and develop a passion for learning.
