Finding innovative ways to enhance traditional services is part of the T. Baker Smith (TBS) culture. Dimensional Control

Surveying is one of the ways that TBS has raised the bar on providing our clients with an industrial measurement service

that provides “real time” 3-dimensional data on fabrication projects. Using highly accurate total stations, laser trackers,

and laser scanners, the industrial measurement software is utilized to gather data during the pre-weld, post-weld and

as-built stage of fabrication. Results are then compared against the design/theoretical dimensions, and industry

standard tolerances to ensure project conformity.
