Additional Information

Scales will be selected from the following:

C, F, Bflat, Eflat, Aflat, D, G

Students should be prepared to play the appropriate scale for their

instrument when given a scale name in concert pitch.

Rudiments will be selected from the following:

Concert Roll (buzz roll), Double Stroke, Five Stroke, Seven Stroke, Flam,

Paradiddle, Single Ratamacue

Rudiments will be performed slow-fast-slow. Students will start the

rudiment slowly then gradually & evenly increase tempo to the fastest clean

tempo they can play, then gradually & evenly reduce the tempo to where

they started.
