Creating your Fan

Creating your Streamers

1 Print out our pre-patterned fan templates or have fun creating, coloring or embellishing the blank template. You can also make your own.

2 The number of templates needed depends on how large you want your fan to be. For large fans, use roughly 6 sheets of paper (templates) without folding your fan folded paper in half. For smaller fans, use 3 sheets of paper (templates) folded in half like below.

NOTE: This is based upon printing on 8.5in x 11in paper. You can make a larger fan by printing on 11in x 17in paper.

3 Vertically accordion-fold the paper in .25 to .5 inch widths. Flip the paper back and forth as you do so. After you finish folding your paper, you should have one long rectangle. (Unfold your paper, and it will look like an accordion.)

4 Fold the paper in half.

5 Spread out the fan. Glue the two middle edges of the fan together. 6 Repeat steps 1 through 4 using two additional sheets of paper. Connect the fans together using glue or double sided tape.

7 Using our circle templates, cut out a center circle and attach to the front middle of your fan.

1 Print out our pre-patterned Rosetta/Circle streamer templates. Mix and match the templates for added fun, shape and sizes.

2 Circle Templates, fold the template in half along the dashed line. Cut along the shape outline. This way you get two shapes with each circle cut. Rosetta templates, cut along the shape outline to cut out each Rosetta.

3 Place glue or tape on the center back side of one cut out shape. Now attach that to your string.

4 Place glue or tape on the back side of the matching shape template. Now align and attach the shape attached to the string. This way your streamers are double sided.

5 Repeat steps 2-4 until you have your desired length streamer. Streamers of various lengths add fun to your photo compositions
